近百年历史的槟城华小
槟城协和国民型华文小学由一群热心教育的教会人士于1928年创办，1938年迁入车水路现址，1958年接受政府津贴成为国民型华文小学。学校以"环境育人、管理育人、文化育人、服务育人、教书育人"为理念，朝向"素质教育"为目标。

协和小学是哪一年创办的？ When was SJK(C) Union founded?
SJK(C) Union began in 1928 as Union Kindergarten (协和幼稚园) at the Methodist church on Jalan Yau Kok, Penang. It moved to its current campus on Jalan Burma in 1938 and became a government-aided national-type Chinese primary school in 1958.

协和小学和协和中学是同一所学校吗？ Is SJK(C) Union the same as SMJK Union?
They share the same roots. The primary section became SJK(C) Union in 1958 and was separated from the secondary school, which moved to Jalan York in 1963. SJK(C) Union is the primary school on Jalan Burma.
